I was at Fernhill Junior School (as it was then) for 2 years from (I think) 1966 to 1968 before I moved to Norfolk. I was there when Mr Thomas took over as headteacher following the death of Mr Daly. My form teachers were Miss Scutt and Mr Teale. I remember the swimming pool was open air behind a wooden fence - we were raising money for a roof but I left before we managed it. It all seems to have changed so much!

As you know i'm in year 5. I'd like to say i loved stubbinton and maybe go on another trip like that in year 6? It would be really cool.

Gosh, I last went to this school in 1997 and still remember it, mind you I cant remember any of the teachers because I was only there for a year. Is the Swimming Pool still there?

hi i can't wait until i come back to school. Sleeping round my grandads house and he has a annoying kitten called lilly, so cute. I caint wait until i see all my friends again see you all soon bye!!

I was looking at your wonderful web site and remembering when I was at your school back in the late 60's early 70's, the school gave my friend and I a great start in life and we often speak of the good times we had.
We have such fond memories of Mr Thomas who was the Head Teacher and Mrs Chadwick and her polo sweets. I was Jacqueline Tappern back then and my friend was Della Green we were inseperable then and still are now, even though she lives 6 thousand miles away in South Africa. We thank you.

Greetings from Boston, Massachusetts. I am a British ex-pat living on the other side of the pond. I went to Fernhill in the late '60s (when it was still called Fernhill Junior).
Anyone remember Mr. Thomas (the headmaster)? I got my first caning from him. Ah, what memories!

you need to look at the relationship between Dumbledore and Snape through all the books. Would Dumbledore employ a man who he could not trust? Would he have left Harry in Snapes care if he had any doubts about him?

yo,yo i am part of the school netball team and we played in a tournament on the 13th of march 07, we won a game 4-0 to hook. I am having a great time in school, but scared about S.A.T.S . Ashleigh said she is scared too.
